A resident of Los Angeles, Benjamin Miles is a composer and orchestrator for film and television.

Having honed his skills working alongside renowned Hollywood composers Heitor Pereira and Mikel Shane Prather, Benjamin has established himself as a versatile composer, writing additional music for over 20 feature films. His portfolio spans a diverse range of genres: from an animated summer blockbuster, to a cozy Christmas comedy, to an outrageous monster showdown.
 

Beyond his work in film, Benjamin is an accomplished arranger. His arrangements have been sold and played around the world, and he has been commissioned to write arrangements for many ensembles such as the Tallahassee Symphony, the Kassia String Ensemble, Dash Duo, and many others. His arrangements are known for their interesting harmonic development and flashy virtuosic elements to showcase the musician’s artistic prowess.

Benjamin holds a degree in Trumpet Performance from Oklahoma State University and a Master's in Film Music Composition from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

 

When not working, Ben enjoys building his Star Wars LEGO collection and watching football.
